Dear Campus Community:<\/p>\n

Homelessness and food insecurity are two of the most significant and important issues in San Diego.\u00a0 The Urgent Challenges Collective is excited to announce USD’s inaugural\u00a0Homelessness and Food Insecurity Awareness Week<\/a>.\u00a0 There are a variety of events scheduled that will provide you with opportunities to learn more about homelessness and food insecurity and ways to get involved\u00a0both on and off campus.<\/p>\n

Monday-Thursday, October 21-24:<\/strong>
\n9:00am-9:00pm (Hahn University Center 282)
\nVisit the\u00a0Interactive Exhibit on Homelessness and Food Insecurity<\/a>\u00a0where you can hear real stories about those experiencing homelessness.\u00a0 Works from local San Diego Artist Neil Shigley’s collection “Invisible People” will be on display.<\/p>\n

Tuesday, October 22:<\/strong>
\n12:30pm-2:00pm\u00a0<\/strong>(Student Life Pavilion, Mother Teresa Plaza)
\nJoin us for\u00a0PB and Jammin’: Pack Lunches for our Homelessness Neighbors<\/a><\/p>\n
