{"id":2203,"date":"2023-07-06T16:59:27","date_gmt":"2023-07-06T23:59:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites.sandiego.edu\/dlt\/?p=2203"},"modified":"2023-07-06T16:59:27","modified_gmt":"2023-07-06T23:59:27","slug":"cchs-job-opportunities","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.sandiego.edu\/dlt\/2023\/07\/06\/cchs-job-opportunities\/","title":{"rendered":"CCHS Job Opportunities"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>Overview:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Cathedral Catholic High School teachers<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> prepare students for life after high school by teaching them the knowledge and skills they will need to be successful in college and the workforce.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Minimum Skills\/Qualifications:\u00a0\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Demonstrated skills and knowledge of teaching, people skills, and communication skills<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">A bachelor\u2019s degree is required, and a teaching credential is preferred (note: if someone is hired without a teaching credential, they will be expected to earn a teaching credential within 3 years). Religion teachers are required to be practicing and knowledgeable Catholics and must have at least a bachelor\u2019s degree in theology.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Who You Are:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">A practicing Catholic or a person that can embrace a position within a faith-filled environment<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Exceptional emotional intelligence. You can recognize your own emotions and regulate them. You can read the emotions of others and respond in a way that honors where the person is to support a positive interaction.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">A reflective learner. You are self-aware and seek to learn and refine your skillset, so you are eager for feedback.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">A servant leader.
