Who Are The Maasai?<\/strong><\/b>
\nThe Maasai are one of the last remaining indigenous tribal communities in East Africa. They are known globally for their distinct culture and ancient heritage. However, today they stand at the crossroads of globalization. Their traditional way of life is rapidly changing as they are forced to adapt to new lifestyles for survival.<\/p>\n

\n<\/strong><\/b>Ole Sankale is a Maasai cultural ambassador, musician, performer, and engaging lecturer. Ole Sankale is a highly knowledgeable warrior about traditional and modern Maasai culture.<\/p>\n

Why is this event important to USD community?
\n<\/strong><\/b>The USD community empowers its students to become ethical and compassionate leaders who are inspired to create lasting social change in our global society.<\/p>\n

The opportunity for students to leave campus and venture out into the world is one of the greatest gifts USD\u2019s students are given.<\/p>\n
