Use Knight Lab StoryMap JS to create a custom map (between 10 and 20 slides) that illustrates the unfolding of an historical event over space and time. I strongly encourage you to base your map on an actual historical event — maps from previous years based on fictional events (e.g. from a novel) were not altogether satisfactory. I also encourage you to chose an event in which there is a clear logical connection between the sequence of occurrences and movement on the map.
Due Mon Apr 9 at 11:59 PM PDT. To turn in your map, click on the Share button at the upper right corner of the StoryMap JS authoring tool, and copy the link it generates. Then create a post on WordPress introducing your map, and include the link. For example, here is a link to 1066, an extremely simplistic map I created to test the turn-in logistics for this assignment.
