I am writing to invite you to participate in my research study\u00a0exploring MFT trainees\u2019 threefold lived experiences of\u00a0shame, self-criticism, and self-compassion\u00a0when they are beginning their practicums in graduate school.<\/p>\n<p>Criteria for participation:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400\">\n<li>Over the age of 18<\/li>\n<li>Required to be a graduate student trainee in a counseling program with an emphasis in MFT\u00a0\udbc0\udc00<\/li>\n<li>Currently in practicum\u00a0with no previous experience conducting therapy\u00a0\udbc0\udc00<\/li>\n<li>Access to Zoom, a free application that can be downloaded at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/zoom.us\/\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/zoom.us\/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1607456530566000&amp;usg=AFQjCNGZQwqQCO_BRnXgwJyHO4fvagSpGg\">https:\/\/zoom.us<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable discussing the dynamics of shame and self-criticism<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Participants will be asked to participate in a 45-60 minute video via Zoom.
