{"id":1480,"date":"2025-07-29T12:31:43","date_gmt":"2025-07-29T19:31:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites.sandiego.edu\/cmft\/?p=1480"},"modified":"2025-07-29T12:31:43","modified_gmt":"2025-07-29T19:31:43","slug":"project-teamup-2025-2026-bhwet-cohort-applications-now-open","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.sandiego.edu\/cmft\/2025\/07\/29\/project-teamup-2025-2026-bhwet-cohort-applications-now-open\/","title":{"rendered":"Project TeamUP: 2025-2026 BHWET Cohort Applications NOW OPEN!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p dir=\"ltr\">We are excited to announce that Project TeamUP\u2019s HRSA grant (Behavioral Health Workforce Education and Training Program for Professionals) has been officially funded for another four years!<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">As you may know, the Department of Counseling &amp; Marital and Family Therapy (CMFT), in collaboration with the Hahn School of Nursing (HSON), has been awarded a Behavioral Health Workforce Education and Training (BHWET) grant by the Health Resources &amp; Services Administration (HRSA) since 2017.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">As a part of this grant, <strong>students completing their practicum\/fieldwork\/clinical experience\u00a0during the 2025-26 academic year\u00a0are eligible for a\u00a0$25,000 stipend!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">This project prioritizes serving\u00a0<strong>children and adolescents (ages 0\u201317)\u00a0and\/or\u00a0transitional-aged youth (ages 18\u201325).<\/strong>\u00a0To be eligible for a stipend, students must serve approximately\u00a0<strong>50% or more<\/strong>\u00a0of their\u00a0<strong>direct\u00a0<\/strong>clinical hours with one or both of these populations during their placement.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>The application for the 2025-26 BHW stipend opportunity is now open and can be accessed here:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/bit.ly\/ProjectTeamUP25-26\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/bit.ly\/ProjectTeamUP25-26&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1753897778620000&amp;usg=AOvVaw3aOiLCaj-NKpC9kLlD1eeT\">https:\/\/bit.ly\/ProjectTeamUP25-26<\/a>. The application is\u00a0due by 11:59 pm on Sunday, August 17th, 2025.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Please note:<\/strong> <em>Selected\u00a0<\/em>applicants will be invited to participate in a virtual or in-person group interview. Group interviews will take place the week of\u00a0<strong>August 25th\u201329th<\/strong>\u00a0and cannot be rescheduled. Project TeamUP will host information sessions during the upcoming Fall semester in preparation for the 2026-27 application cycle.
