Join Our Team: Bilingual Campus Clinic Group Session Facilitator for Teen Mental Health Program<\/b><\/h1>\n

Campus Clinic is implementing the\u00a0BLUES Program<\/a><\/u>, an innovative, evidence-based mental health initiative designed to empower adolescents through cognitive-behavioral techniques and mindfulness practices in a supportive group setting. We are seeking compassionate and dedicated therapists and facilitators who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of teens, locally in North County San Diego.<\/p>\n

Campus Clinic will roll out the BLUES program and collaborate with iHeart to incentivize teens to empower themselves. There will be a project and event kick off with iHeart to promote mental health awareness. Soon after, students can enroll in the BLUES program at their high school.<\/p>\n

Role Description<\/u><\/h2>\n

As a Group Facilitator, you will lead the BLUES program, which consists of 6-week sessions (1 hour) or 8-week sessions (45 minutes), helping teens understand their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors in ways that foster resilience and self-awareness. This role is ideal for compassionate professionals who are enthusiastic about innovative mental health practices and skilled in engaging with young people in both individual and group settings.<\/p>\n

Training for the BLUES program will take place over 2 days at 4 hours each day. We are projecting to train on July 22 (9am-1pm) and July 25th (1-5pm) 2024.<\/p>\n

Responsibilities<\/u><\/h2>\n

\u00b7\u00a0Conduct group sessions using a structured, evidence-based curriculum tailored to adolescent needs.<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0Incorporate mindfulness and cognitive-behavioral techniques to enhance participants’ self-awareness and self-compassion skills.<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0Collaborate with a multidisciplinary project team to refine therapeutic approaches and share insights.<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0Support the mental health journey of each participant, fostering a compassionate, safe and inclusive environment.<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0Integrate with site counselors and build rapport and partnership with school team made up of: principals, counselors, students, and their families.<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0Understand the VISTA community and their corresponding resources.<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0Support evaluation process of the project including implementing mental health screeners, assessments, pre and post surveys, data collection, and all necessary communication with Campus Clinic Team.<\/p>\n

We Are Looking For Someone Who<\/u><\/h2>\n

\u00b7\u00a0Holds relevant credentials: specifically, LMFT.<\/b><\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0This role must be in-person in North County San Diego. You will need to drive to 3 different high schools in the VISTA Unified School District.<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0Has compassionate group experience and a strong desire to work with adolescents.<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a020-40 hours of availability<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0Is bilingual<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0Intends to cultivate community in North County San Diego.<\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0Is trained in or willing to embrace mindfulness practices and cognitive-behavioral therapy.<\/p>\n
