Technology is often used to facilitate engagement in a flipped classroom. Viewing short lectures, 10 to 15 minute, outside of class can prepare students for engagement inside of class. Mediasite and Blackboard Collaborate are both useful for this type of lecture capturing. Additionally, with Blackboard Collaborate, asynchronous content development, virtual office hours, virtual field trips, and remote guest speakers are all possible ways to enhance students’ in and out of the classroom experiences. Join us to hear about how USD professors are using these technologies in flipping their courses.
Coffee and biscotti will be available
