This workshop will provide preceptors with information about the goals of USD’s First Year Experience in general and the Preceptorial Program in particular. This workshop will begin with an overview of the Preceptorial Program, providing practical guidance on how to manage the first Preceptorial meeting in September.

Breakout sessions will follow the initial overview and participants will have the opportunity of learning more about the following:

• MapWorks, a powerful integrated database that is used to help identify at-risk first year students;
• DARS/Banner tutorial
