Faculty Imagined the Active Classroom – Serra 204: Now, do we like it?
In Fall 2012, USD opened the first radically flexible classroom in the College of Arts and Sciences in Serra 204. Do we want to see more general use classrooms turned into active-learning spaces in future renovations? Faculty who attend this session will hear from those who have had an opportunity to teach in Serra 204. Results of an assessment of the room’s functionality and special features will be reviewed. We encourage faculty to provide feedback on improving the space and similar spaces in the future.
Join the CEE and the CAS Classroom Innovation Committee in a roundtable and interchange of ideas. This is an opportunity to have your voice heard as the renovations of classrooms continue to move forward.
