SBA Advisory Board member to head Coinstar, Inc.

J. Scott Di Valerio (BBA ’85)

When J. Scott Di Valerio (BBA ’85) joined the USD School of Business Advisory Board one year ago, he was CFO of Coinstar, Inc. He was recently promoted to CEO, and I saw this Wall Street Journal blog reporting on his promotion.

This is great alumni news, and we send our congratulations to Scott!

David Pyke, Ph.D., has been dean of the School of Business Administration (SBA) at the University of San Diego since 2008.

Formerly, he was professor of Operations Management, and associate dean at the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College.

He obtained his BA from Haverford College, MBA from Drexel University, and his M.A. and Ph.D. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
