Winning horse, Ambitoness, pulling ahead in the USD Alumni Race at Del Mar and a high stakes bet.
Speaking of horses, I joined a sellout group of 120 USD School of Business and USD alumni at the Del Mar races last weekend. It was wonderful to see some old friends and meet many alumni.

We are giving our students a passport to their future. A Bloomberg Businessweek article this week identified our “Professional Development Passport Program” as one of six effective business school career services programs. Since 2008, students at the USD School of Business have been required to gain “passport points” by participating in events that help to prepare them for their job search.

David Pyke, Ph.D., has been dean of the School of Business Administration (SBA) at the University of San Diego since 2008.
Formerly, he was professor of Operations Management, and associate dean at the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College.
He obtained his BA from Haverford College, MBA from Drexel University, and his M.A. and Ph.D. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
