U in the UNIVERSITY
A central question of our times is how institutions of higher learning can unlock individual potential for changemaking and leadership. On February 21-23, 2013, USD in partnership with Ashoka U will offer The Ashoka U Exchange, an exceptional opportunity of bringing together 650 individuals, representing 150 institutions from over 40 countries, all of them with one thing in common: learning to change the world for the better. This year’s theme is “Unlock the U in the University,” a call to individual action through the exchange on the creative ways in which institutions of higher learning strive to spark ideas big enough for positive social change. There will be panels, specialized workshops and innovation presentations, where ideas and best practices will be discussed.
