2012 Changemaker Scholarships
Meeting challenges and leading change is central to the University of San Diego’s mission and values. The institution seeks students who are willing to take on challenges and make a difference on a personal, local and global level. We know that supporting young minds in their studies and their changemaking path is vital. We invite applications for the 2012 Changemaker Scholarship, which offers up to $5,000 in financial assistance to new students or continuing full-time students with financial need. A committee will evaluate an applicant’s potential to contribute to the changemaking spirit of USD. The scholarship recognizes need and students with the capacity to take action and create positive social impact in the world around us, as well as those who exhibit important traits of a Changemaker: empathy, creativity and leadership.
