“Out of the Classroom and Into the World”
Presentation by Jonathan M. Bowman
Department of Communication Studies
Graduates’ oft-mentioned memories of positive educational experiences often include activities and learning that occurred outside a traditional chalkboard-style lecture. Indeed, “shaking things up” in the classroom likely has positive impact upon both student and faculty experience. This presentation discusses the perceived benefits of experiential education and facilitates a collaborative discussion of best-practices in the college classroom.
